So here we are.
My last Friday with Heidi (from FastTrack Fit Camp) and tomorrow, the 31st, will be the last day that I run a FastTrack Fit Camp session.
It’s been a week of reflection and fun.
I had a fabulous last Sunday Wake Up! with my Fit Campers last week. The weather was kind, the ice cream man turned up and we had a brilliantly colourful send off.
Tomorrow after my last Zoom session there are a bunch of us going for a group breakfast too as a final collective get together before we all step into new challenges and opportunities.
It’s time and I am ready to step back.
I am excited for Kelly and Wayne to do amazing things with The Power Plant and continuing what I’ve started.
So it’s time to say thank you and good luck.
Thank you for the brilliance of you over the last 12 years.
For the friendship and trust you’ve given me with your health and your lives.
Thank you for building the wider Fit Camp community so strongly that friendships continue way beyond a few squats and press ups.
Thank you for charity fund raising, social media post liking, friend-bringing and memory making moments that will stick around with me for a very long time.
And good luck with whatever comes next for you. I wish you a very healthy and happy life.
This is the last time I’ll remind you that to keep receiving Friday with Heidi is to sign up to my new list here:
You won’t be automatically transferred across.
I hope to see you there to share what I am doing with all things Metabolic Balance, food and recipes, Weekenders and events and updates on the latest from my new role in health tests and assessments. It’s an up and coming industry with some fabulous assessments made much more readily available to the public.
My parting wish for you all would be that you move a bit each day, eat pretty well most of the time and get outside often. It can only be good for you! Chuck in an extra glass of water daily and some decent sleep and you’ll be doing more than most.
And finally, let’s remember the words of Dr Seuss…
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened”
