Welcome to the end of the third week of the year.
What have you done so far?
I don’t mean that facetiously. I really want you to consider what’s happened this year already.
I’ve not actively gone out all guns blazing with goals and targets, but when I reflected yesterday on what I’d done already, it felt quite a lot and it left me feeling that it was good progress given that it wasn’t laid out in advance.
It reminded me of something I’ve shared with you before in that we can flow like a river and still make progress.
We may, at times, bob along in the eddy not going anywhere, just round and around. At times we may be flowing fast downstream and out of control but equally we also find ourselves to be slowly, slowly drifting.
If we’ve learned anything from the last 12 months it’s that all of these things can be completely fine and they can also be changed if we choose.
When you find yourself going around in circles with seemingly no way out it might be time to take a risk and try something, anything to get you out of the giddiness of it all.
When you’re in the headiness of flowing quickly you may feel out of control. But you may also feel exhilarated and motivated. You may want to grab a helping hand to drag you out or you may want to shout ‘faster, faster!’ and bring more people with you!
And when you’re bobbing along, slowly drifting and you think you need more oomph, you can grab a paddle and work a little harder for a bit.
So today I want to offer my hand to help.
Do you need pulling out of the rapids or being given a shove?
I can help you in several ways. Like with weight loss by looking at your food choices, why you sabotage your new resolve and how to work to fix it.
Or I can help you identify which other areas of your life are affecting your ability to stay focused at being healthy.
And I can share with you how FastTrack Fit Camp sessions help our people each week to feel good about themselves.
I can also offer you a community of fabulously, funny, friendly and supportive people who are just like you and want the same things out of life (currently to get out and meet some people other than those they live with!)
And if you have ever wondered if the Metabolic Balance nutrition programme is for you — you can find out next week on Tuesday 26 January at 19.30 where I’ll be explaining how it works, who it works for and whether it’s right for you. I’ll be joined by some current and previous clients who’ll be sharing their experience of the programme. You can register for that here.
To find out about any of these things please reply to this email and we’ll get you set up with a chat to see if we’re a good match!
I wish you a fabulous weekend.
Last Sunday was stunning, I am hoping for an equally beautiful day this weekend too!
