Friday with Heidi: Welcome to 2021…
Wishing you a very Happy New Year’s Day!
I am not going to talk about the weirdness of the last 12 months, we all know that.
But I just wanted to start this year’s Friday with Heidi’s with a thank you and some information about an event I have been asked to speak at.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who donated, joined in and did their bit for our New Year’s Eve Online Fitness Fund Raiser.
We raised a flippin’ fabulous £1125.00 (so far) for the Wokingham Link Visiting Scheme and there’s still time to donate if you’d like to.
I’ll keep the link open until the end of Sunday when we’ll close it down before starting a new year of contribution.
If you would like to donate you can click here: https://uk.
Here’s our final screenshot-selfie of 2020.
Secondly, on Saturday 9 January I am very pleased to have been asked to speak at this big day of health and fitness – Ripple 2021.
It’s a free, online event organised by Chris Hunt, a Wokingham personal trainer. The agenda is full with local health, fitness, nutrition and well-being business owners all talking about their little niche.
Mine, you’ll not be surprised to hear, is about the benefits of being outside and the resilience it can bring you. Do join me at 09.30 for my half hour slot and also see who else you’d like to listen to.
You can register here – https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEkc-utrjktE9GBW-pmTJd_UxNR3tIfLBBg
So I wish you a fabulous day.
If you’re anything like me I’d not start any new things today.
Give yourself chance to bed the new year in. To get the last of the holiday food out the house, to get a routine of work and play back under your belt before you start planning marathons and diets and financial freedom.
Set yourself up with some thinking time, some preparation time and some normality after the Christmas downtime before jumping into something new.
Enjoy your day.
