Friday with Heidi: Our brave new world…
How is your brave new world treating you my trusty Friday with Heidi souls?
It’s been a full on and challenging week or so since I transferred the business from being outdoor to online.
It seems many businesses are now finding similar ways to connect. My networking groups, social gatherings and 1-2-1 catch ups are all on conference calls. I’ll be honest, I find it all very peopley and exhausting at times. However, running Fit Camp sessions this way just makes my day and on Saturday I got quite caught up by the emotion of them all doing the same thing, at the same time all over the county and had to catch a tear or two as they did their stretches!
I’ve been live-streaming Fit Camp sessions to our campers via Zoom conferencing and despite a few minor hiccups it’s worked a treat.
- I can be heard.
- I can generally be seen.
- But most importantly I can see them!
I can talk to them to correct them, motivate them, even ask one of them to demonstrate for another client.
In fact we had that this morning when Malcolm (from Caversham) was showing Sophie (from Germany) how to do a Genie Tuck…ain’t technology grand?!
And then on Sunday I have decided to run our weekly Sunday Wake Up! session as a complimentary camp. At our first camp last Sunday we had 60 log ins to Zoom and over 75 people working out at the same time. It was quite something to see them all bouncing around on their screens, in various part of the country.
A brave new world for sure.
My offering to you during this time is to be able to access our on-line stuff too. So this week I am going to list all our events that you can come along to and learn from, join in with or just enjoy some company from.
Please feel free to join us at all or some. Unless mentioned otherwise they are all free of charge.
