Friday with Heidi: A Clean, Green, Christmas Greeting…
And you’re nearly there!
Well done if you’ve been holding on for today because you’re now off work. I really hope you enjoy your break.
If you’re not quite there yet like I am, we can do it! This time next week it will all be over and we’ll be basking in the glow of the success of it all or wondering when we can all get back to normal.
I have a fabulous card to offer you this year.
The very talented Heidi Sandford from our Winnersh camp has designed me a card that brings our sustainability and Social Enterprise efforts full circle. I am so pleased with how she’s managed to get so many of the concepts into one fabulous picture.
I hope you enjoy it…
If you’re not quite sure what they all are, here we go…
- Planting new trees
- Keeping trainers out of landfill with trainer collections
- Litter picking within our communities
- Santa’s jacket is made from the blanket of Fit Camp teeshirts presented to me at our 10th anniversary party last month.
- And for those who receive a physical card there’s a treat in store for them too!
Christmases at FastTrack Fit Camp have evolved over the last few years.
We used to take a week off, then we added in a session or two, now we only take the Bank Holidays off and we let anyone join us!
So if you are around from tomorrow – Saturday 21 December to Friday 3 January – and you’re not a current member then we invite you along to join us at any of our sessions. They are £8 a visit and you can rock up at any of them without any prior booking.
The Christmas timetable is here.
And here.
There’s also still time to book onto our Happiest Year Yet event on 4 January at Hilton St Anne’s Hotel in Wokingham.
It’s a fabulous opportunity to get your year off to a good start with some mindful and considered time to think and plan what you want to achieve and how you might get there.
I run this event in a way that I’d like to learn and be inspired.
- I want to hear from people who have done it.
- I want to hear from people who do it.
- I want to learn something new or be reminded of something I’ve forgotten.
- I want to walk out with stuff to do immediately.
I’ve got all that, and a bit more, to share with you at this exciting event. And I know that we’ll offer you a truly fabulous afternoon to leave you excited for 2020 and beyond and not thinking ‘oh not another New Year‘. Click the link to book your place, bring a friend and hold each other to account for making sure it happens.
So on that note it’s just for me to wish you a stonking Christmas.
I hope it’s just how you like it.
Noisy and busy or quiet and calm.
Stuffed to the ribs or sozzled by the fire.
Up, out and walking or films and TV watching.
And if you fancy a burpee or two, come and join me in Winnersh from tomorrow where you can start your New Year’s resolutions early!
Not much on the sunrise front this week but I did go to the beach with a friend last Saturday and we had a wonderfully, blustery day there. It was quiet and raw and just what was needed at the end of a full week.
