Friday with Heidi: Short week, long weekend…
It’s one of my weird weeks.
It’s Wednesday and I am writing Friday with Heidi. I always find that a tricky one. The reason? I am off to Stratford tomorrow on the third of my weekend courses that I signed up to earlier this year.
A year long self development programme designed to dig into the depths of your ‘stuff’, look at it, deal with it and move on anew.
They’ve all been very revealing for different reasons and I’ve definitely got my value from the investment in time, money and effort.
I am really looking forward to this coming weekend.
It’s around the topic of attitudes to money, financial resilience and confidence.
If there was a way to describe this part of my life I’d liken it to my clients who struggle with the diet yo-yo.
There are areas of this that I have nailed, but others that really are a repeating pattern of ingrained, frustrating behaviour. So, we’ll see where that goes this weekend. I have a suspicion it will be messy!
Why would I share this with you?
Two reasons.
- because we’ve all got our ‘stuff‘.
- because there’s an assumption that people have their shit together.
And they don’t. No one does.
It might be weight or money or relationships or friendships, stopping smoking, or putting roots down or feeling rudderless. Whatever it is for you, if it is a constant circle of noise maybe it’s time to get it looked at?
That noise, that destructive pattern of behaviour may need such a small shove along a new path that you could be sorted in no time.
Think of how different things would be if you could get it sorted.
You may decide on wellness coaching, hypnotherapy, counselling, Reiki, Pranic Healing, relationship coaching, a career coach, chiropractic care, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy…whatever it is, is it time to take a step and make a change?
I am. If I feel brave enough I’ll report in on our Facebook page with a video. If not I’ll hide behind my words next week!
If you read FWH for a tip or a nudge then today it’s to think about this.
What is THE biggest blockage to you making progress?
Maybe it’s time, time to do the thing that you’ve been putting off.
Let me know what you decide.
And, if you want to talk about how to improve your health, fitness and weight then please drop me a line. It’s what I know, practice and can do best. I am working to my strengths, I want you to be able to feel great in that area too.

Chances of me getting a sunrise in Stratford this weekend are slim, so here’s one of my favourites from this week.
FastTrack Fit Camp is an outdoor fitness business with the focus on improving people on the inside so they feel good on the outside. In 2019 FastTrack Fit Camp became a Social Enterprise in Wokingham and committed to distribute a minimum of 50% of profits back to community environmental projects each year with the goal of helping our local citizens feel good whilst being outside too.
