Eamon’s Passport to Health
At Fit Camp we help clients of all ages. However we are especially good at helping those in their 50s and 60s. Here’s how we help with getting fit at 60 with Eamon, a regular at our Swallowfield Fit Camp.
How long have you been coming to Fit Camp?
8 years, with a one year break (we went on a gap year).
Why did you start coming to Fit Camp?
Mostly to get a bit fitter and lose a few pounds around the tummy as I get older.
Have you got that from your visits?
That, and a lot more. Fit Camp has become an essential part of my life.
What has attending Fit Camp given you that you weren’t expecting?
As I look at other folks my age I know Fit Camp has helped me to keep fitter, stay brighter and really enjoy life much more.
While I know that I’ve been very lucky with my health, I also know that Fit Camp has helped me to get and stay fit, fight off the usual colds, flu, tummy upsets etc that seem to run rife through the rest of the family and grandchildren!
As Heidi says, it’s my health “pension”… I pay my ‘subscriptions’ three times a week and I draw the benefits every single day.
I know that if I stopped my health would start to dip and I’d go back to having no energy, sleeping badly, catching every bug that’s about and suffering from gastric reflux again.
What’s your favourite exercise at Fit Camp?
Anything less than 40 secs long…but probably genie tucks.
