Clean Green Fit Camp: How to BeeBomb like a pro…
We love our BeeBombs here at FastTrack Fit Camp!
We love that they are fully British, completely green and damn easy to use!
However there are a bunch of less than environmentally friendly BeeBomb products on the market that may appear to be cheaper but are of great concern to our fragile environment.
Heather Lake is a Plant Health and Seeds Inspector for APHA , who are part of DEFRA and she’s given me a couple of interesting thoughts for those of you thinking of buying online and why it’s important to know the origin of the product.
It’s essential that BeeBombs are from UK companies using clean, native seed.
- The main concerns are that the seeds can harbour viruses that could be extremely harmful to the UK environment and agriculture.
- It is also suspected that some of these seeds are collected from the wild or not commercially grown and could contain invasive species of plants. Given the current news items about the damage that Japanese knotweed and Himalayan balsam are doing to the UK environment it really is worth considering your source first, rather than your pocket.

FastTrack Fit Camp is a Wokingham based outdoor group fitness business that has been running since 2009. In 2019 it converted to a Social Enterprise supporting local community environmental and sustainable programmes by donating a minimum of half of their annual profits back to these projects each year.
