Don’t some weeks just fly?
This week is no exception and I am quite stunned to be sitting down to write this week’s FWH so soon!
I made a post in our Members Facebook group on Wednesday, as a reminder to me more than anything, to remember what we’ve achieved already this year before skipping into a new month.
I am very good at that. Or very bad it, depending how you want to look at it.
However this week I’ve made a point of thinking about all that’s happened in 2019 already to get me to this point. And then to let it sink in before I start galloping ahead again.
Of course in that reflection I had pause to think of all the people who have helped and contributed to my progress too and I thought that this week my little seed to sow to you would be to think about who you’ve got in your corner and give them a little thankful thought.
Whilst I do enjoy my own company and am more than happy on my own, I recognise that to get stuff done in life I need others who are way more able at some of these jobs than I am.
So this week is short and sweet. This week a lot of people have helped me make progress in some way. They probably don’t even realise it.
From having my hair cut, to helping me with social media, to teaching me to open water swim for the first time, to inviting me over for a coffee, to sending me random flowers, to just listening to me ramble on with some wild-ass ideas, to brainstorming weekender events, to putting some order to my data, to answering Wassaps late at night, coming out to Fit Camp sessions, to making me laugh at 06.30 in the morning, to emptying the bins, offering a testimonial about me in a meeting, sending me a complimentary email, nominating us for an award, giving me a kinesiology treatment, giving a chiropractic adjustment, busting my ass in a weights session and holding me accountable for what I said I was going to do.
Who’s got your back?
Who has helped you this week in someway?
Who made this week pretty damn special for you?
They’re your local heroes. Look after them.
If you’d like to help FastTrack Fit Camp a little this week, we have entered and been nominated for the Muddy Stilettos Awards. At this stage nominations are counted and the top 5 move through to the final next week. All nominations up to Wednesday next week are counted. If you think that we’ve helped you in some way please nominate us for the Fitness Instructor award – we’d love to get into the top 5!
Thank you 🙂
This Bank Holiday Monday our 09.30 session at Bearwood Recreation Ground, Winnersh, RG41 5DU will be open to all. So if you’d like to come along please do. All you need is something to lie on, some water and £8 per person.
I hope we’ll see you get out, get moving and feel better!
Have a great Bank Holiday Weekend.
