Last year Mr Strickers and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.
I came up with the idea of ensuring that we made it last all year by having a monthly anni-versi-date (see what I did there?!) on the 25th of each month.
It was a huge success. We had meals out, went bowling, to the cinema, a walk along the river, paddled down a boat under a full moon in Sweden and more. It was very memorable and really made us focus on doing something to celebrate.
I have decided to take this practice into FastTrack Fit Camp’s tenth year too.
Starting from this month, every 10th day of the month, we’ll do something to celebrate our tenth year in business.
It may be a competition or a mini get together or a quick ‘how-to’ guide or a freebie. The thing is that it will always be on the 10th of the month and each month it will be different.
If you’d like to keep up to date with that please drop us a line (email@example.com) and we’ll make sure that you get the details as they are announced. We don’t want to bombard you with things that aren’t relevant to you.
This coming Monday is our first one…it’s a Christmassy one and, I hope, will keep you managing your plans this holiday.
I don’t know about you, but I find that it’s the days after Christmas when I eat too much and wish I’d made better choices. One of the ways to keep on top of this (as I mentioned last week) is to keep active. We keep Fit Camp running right over the Christmas and New Year week to ensure that members and non-members can get some exercise in each day to keep the bulge at bay.
