If all things have gone to plan, by the time you are reading this I will be in a Premier Inn in Glasgow having had a perfect night’s sleep in preparation for a trip to Fort William later today.
The weekend has arrived!
A year ago I thought it would be a good idea to sign up to the Three Peaks Challenge and raise money for a Wokingham based charitiy called YPWD.
Doesn’t a year go quickly?!
And don’t good ideas seem rather faded when time has passed?!
Five Fit Campers, two daughters (mine and Shirley’s) and I are all putting our boots to the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales this weekend.
We start at 07.00 on Saturday at Ben Nevis and should be done and having breakfast in Wales by 10.30 / 11.00 on Sunday morning.
I’ll be posting on social media when signal and battery life allows, but suffice to say I’ll be enjoying myself in the outdoors, walking and doing something different for charity.
