Friday with Heidi: One week on…
Thank you for your lovely emails wishing me a happy birthday last week. I had a great day.
Mr Strickers and I took off to Bournemouth for the day and did nothing much. Just how I like it.
I decided that the best present I could give myself was two days off social media and that was a blessing too. I highly recommend it. We’re all so much on call, all the time, that we forget what it was like when people used to send memos, make phone calls and send a fax if it was really urgent! Two days spent unplugged and outside worked wonders 🙂
I also want to thank you all so very much for voting for us in the Muddy Stilettos awards last week. I am sorry to say that after all your efforts we didn’t win however I am delighted that we’ve been in the top 5 in the final for all three years that the awards have run. That’s a great place to be!
Thank you!
I’ve had some lovely emails this week from readers who’ve opted in to keep in touch on the back of our GDPR email this week and my birthday Friday with Heidi last week.
I am chuffed to bits that my little newsletter keeps you inspired each week and I really don’t mind when people say “I’m sorry I am not a Fit Camper, but I do read your newsletter”.
Fit Camp isn’t for everyone. It may not be the right location, time of day or the right time in your life for you.
But I hope I can share a little positivity to each of you each week to think about what you do about your health and how you look after your body. After all as Jim Rohn said “take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live“. And living in a happy, healthy environment is way more enjoyable than a noisy, dirty neighbourhood.
This Bank Holiday Monday you could come and see if Fit Camp is for you!
We’re running two pay as you go sessions over the weekend.
Sunday 09.00 at Bearwood Recreation Ground, Winnersh and Monday 09:30 the same place. Just bring a mat, old gloves and some water and join in. Price per person is £7.00.
Have a wonderful weekend, take a day or two off social media, make a list of 5 things you can do to improve your health and fitness and if in doubt make number 1 one of our sessions!
See you next week.
Heidi
