It seems last week’s FWH was a noteworthy one.
Thank you for the emails and comments this week. I’ve been very touched by your feedback, messages and comments saying how it helped.
It’s funny how some weeks some of these words spill out of my fingers and create that impact.
This week I want to say thank you and a friendly good bye to January.
I am not sure whether it’s because I’ve been doing it for 8 years or if it’s been exceptionally dark and cold, but I’ve felt like the nights are too dark and wintery this year.
I’d like to see my evening campers faces a bit better. To wear fewer layers (I’ve even double hatted this week!) and to some stunning sunsets.
This week though I’ve really appreciated the clear skies as we’ve had the beauty of the full moon to admire as we stretch at the end of the session. It’s one of my absolute delights to have a clear sky and full moon and whilst I am sure not all my campers get it, it’s one of those moments that makes me happy to be alive. You don’t get that in a gym 🙂
February welcomes a month focusing on winning when you’re losing.
Winning at fat loss whilst you’re losing it.
Winning at doing the right exercise for the goal you’ve set.
Winning at eating the right stuff at the right time (and in the right quantities) for optimum results.
Winning at being happy where you are right now, in this moment, rather than wishing you were somewhere else.
I’ll be covering these over the next few weeks.
Given that it is going to be a bit chillier this weekend I thought I’d share a recipe from last year for you. A savoury flapjack.
They’ve got a cheesy, quiche like taste, but you can mix around your ingredients to suit your preference.
They’ll keep in the fridge for a week or so…if you can keep them that long.
Have a great week and take time to stop and look at the moon — or smell the roses — or taste the coffee!
This week’s Q&A is all about knowing what success looks like.
