Friday with Heidi: Are you one of the 50%?
I hope you’ve had a good week.
This week I am making good on some of my intentions from last year.
I accepted last year that I can’t know everything, do everything and get it all done if I do it on my own. It’s only taken me about 8 years in running Fit Camp to realise this, but it’s OK, now is the time.
I don’t know what I don’t know and getting the results I want, both personally and professionally, will come from using others and getting their expertise.
I’ve already started with a regular fitness strength regime to supplement my Fit Camp attendance and an extra pair of hands for the marketing side of the business.
Both of these areas I have experience and knowledge in. But when you have to do it for yourself, when you want to just get in, get it done and get out, having someone else guide and show you makes the whole experience way more enjoyable.
I read an article this week published in The Independent that stated that over half of British adults don’t know what to do in a gym, that they don’t know basic health stats about themselves like height, weight (good!), blood pressure, body fat percentage and resting heart rate and that they don’t know what to do to get the results they want.
At Fit Camp we do that for you.
If you want to get results from your efforts then our programmes are designed to do just that. High intensity interval training still trumps most other exercises (high intensity strength training is best) for fat burning, insulin reducing, muscle strengthening, metabolism balancing and cardiovascular function.
If you want to know where you’re starting from with regards to height, weight, body fat, internal age, arterial age, blood pressure, resting pulse. We can do all that as part of your membership with one appointment.
If you want to know what to eat to get the results you desire. We can do that too.
Neat eh?
We’ve had a nice influx of people trying us out this week on our week long trial to see how they get on and whether they like what we offer. It’s really nice to know that we can impact people’s lives quite quickly with some great results at group fitness prices.
If you fancy giving our trial a go, all you need to do is click this link and Nia will be in touch to assist you with where and when you’d like to go. We’d love to see you and see how we can help make 2018 a healthier year for you.
Last Saturday I ran the Happiest Year Yet event in Wokingham. We had a wonderful turnout, 87 lovely happy people joined us and set some intentions around their year.
I asked them to theme their year, just I like I did with you last week but they had to write it on a flip chart.
If you are still undecided or would like some inspiration, here’s what they wrote!
I wish you a fabulous week, filled with your theme word and health.
To next week!
Heidi

And here’s this week’s Wednesday Q&A from Facebook. All about supplements and whether I think we need to take them.
