I hope you had a lovely Christmas.
It doesn’t matter whether you spent it with masses of family or you and your pup, I hope it’s what you wanted and you really enjoyed it.
We did. We had our traditional Strickers Christmas on the day and have spent since then enjoying mornings out running the Christmas Fit Camp sessions and nights in. It’s been nice to slow down and do more of nothing for a for days.
Yesterday I was going through my email inbox and tidying it up. I came across a blog post where the author spoke about creating a ta-da list.
Rather than a to-do, which can make you lose the will to live at the length of it, but a ta-da list to remind you of all the good things that have happened that day, week, month or year.
So this is what I am going to do before New Year.
I am going to create my own ta-da list for 2017.
See what went well.
What went amazingly.
What I’m proud of.
Who I’ve met and helped.
What I achieved that I set out to achieve.
What I achieved that I had no idea about in January.
What I achieved because of who I met or what event shifted me in a new direction.
Which books I’ve read that have influenced me.
What a-ha moments I’ve had.
When I have done this. I am then going to look at 2018 and what I want to do.
Having the oomph of good feeling about 2017 will spur me on to think of what I am capable of achieving in 2018, rather than sitting with a blank piece of paper and wondering what I can do this year.
Try it! Let me know how you do.
If you want to spend more time doing some mindful planning and preparing for 2018 then please join me next Saturday – 6 January between 10.00 – 13.00 to do just that at my Happiest Year Yet event.
I’ll be guiding you through how to set goals that you’ll achieve. How to create an environment where you will succeed, how to get to Easter (which is 90 days from 1 January) with a smile on your face because of what you’ve done already.
Click the link and reserve your place https://hyy2018.eventbrite.co.uk we have a few places left still. Also please note this is a no exercise morning! No need for workout gear or trainers, it’s about planning and learning.
If you can’t make the event and want a helping hand for a new approach to being happy and healthier then try my book. It’s comes with my 100 Day Challenge that gives you the tools to have a simple and rewarding approach to a happier and healthier life. It’s available on Amazon and yes, it’s publication earlier this year will be featuring on my ‘ta da list’ later today 🙂
Thank you for all your support this year. For reading my Friday with Heidi blog, supporting my business and letting me know what you do that makes you happy and healthy every day.
To your very successful 2018.
