Friday with Heidi (on a Monday): Can I Ask A Favour?
You can wait for years for an award then and then two come along at once!
If you’ve been following my journey this year it may all appear a bit confusing what with Venus Awards and Muddy Stilettos, but Friday night was the finals of the Thames Valley Venus Awards. I was in the Inspirational Woman category and was runner up alongside Angela Cox to Lucy Coulbert from The Individual Funeral Company who scooped the gong!
I am so pleased for her. In her speech she said how she hadn’t realised how much she’d wanted to win — I am delighted she did, she’s making waves in a stuffy, corporate profession and sits on the Department of Work and Pensions Select Committee. Long may it continue.
It was a glittery affair and I had a lovely evening with a beautifully loud bunch of supporters who supported me throughout.
However, time marches on and this week I am in the running for a publicly voted award from the Muddy Stilettos Berkshire blog.
FastTrack Fit Camp are up for the Fitness Instructor category and we’d love it if you could give us a vote if you like what we do and how we help you and others. We won it last year and would be really delighted to see our name on the award again.
It may be that we’ve supported a charity you like. We may have run an event you have been to or helped you to find your fitness mojo when you thought it was all but lost.
Voting is very simple and FastTrack Fit Camp is one of 26 Wokingham based businesses to be in the finals, so when you pop to the site you may see others you recognise and want to vote for too.

This is my daughter Sophie (left), me and my sister Chloe with me on Friday. We scrub up quite well!
Thank you for your support!
