Our campers have found it a bit hot this week and found that summer fitness isn’t quite the glorious experience they’d pictured.
Not quite so much of the frolicking in the park with a cool water bottle to sip on, more like a sticky, sweaty, hair-on-face swilling warm water from the car kind of affair!
Luckily for we Brits this is a small blip in the normal 🙂
When a bank holiday looms I know that we’ll see more interest in what we do, how we can help people and have more than the usual number of enquiries. It’s even more noticeable during this August weekend.
It may be instilled in us from school days, but September still has a lure of new-ness about it.
The harking back to crisp new uniforms, perfect unscathed rough books and a lovely new pencil case.
It suggests getting stuff done, getting back into a routine and finishing the year in style.
I mentioned last week that I would share with you what we’re offering this Autumn and how you can get involved if you are already nodding and deciding that you want to get back into a rhythm next month.
The Programme with No Name
I have one place on the above programme which will run from 3 September – 31 December. It’s a comprehensive health, fitness, nutrition, wellness, lifestyle and life changing experience where you’ll be helping, with 9 others, to develop the programme for future clients. Please email me directly on email@example.com.
Fit, Lean and Happy (FLH)
FLH is group fitness with a personal training feel. We offer more hand holding, more accountability and personal 1-2-1 coaching calls and nutrition help. This 12 week programme will run from 19 September to 18 December and there are 16 places. I like to chat with each applicant who wants to do this so please drop Alison a line to firstname.lastname@example.org so she can set up a suitable time for a 10-15 minute chat.
6 Week Feel Good Challenge
Our 6 Week Feel Good Challenge is a great way to start with FastTrack Fit Camp. It’s our tried and tested programme offering outdoor group fitness, regular emails, weekly meal plans and support from our Facebook group, instructors and accountability (weights & measures) sessions with me. There are no limits to the number of people we can take on this, but once our camps are at capacity (28 people) we can’t take any more.
Sunday Wake Up!
Our weekly Sunday class has become a bit of a social event! With between 25-45 people each week we start the morning as we mean to go on with a fun, social and effective workout. It’s a pay-as-you-go class for non members and it’s £7 a session. Just turn up to Bearwood Recreation Ground, Winnersh for a 9am start and come and introduce yourself to me. It’s my favourite session of the week.
The Nation’s Biggest Sports Day
This Saturday, tomorrow, is a day where all local sports and fitness clubs can open their doors to new people following on from the success of the Olympics. At Fit Camp we’re making our Saturday sessions available as a taster this week to be part of this huge event.
Sessions at either 08.30 in Twyford, 09.00 in Swallowfield or 10.00 in Warfield.
Whatever you do this weekend I wish you a lovely one.
Whether you are exercising, entertaining, holidaying or sitting in your garden.
