Friday with Heidi: Are you willing?

Today did not go quite as planned!
I am supposed to be at a business seminar in London. It started at 9am and I had planned to be there by 08.40, all comfy with my complimentary coffee in the front row ready for a good old listen.
Trees had other ideas.
A tree on the line at Virginia Water meant I had to hop off at Ascot and get a train to Aldershot which would then go directly to Waterloo. Hooray!
I hopped on the said train to Aldershot (very crammed in now) which crawled it’s way to Aldershot. At one point we stopped on the tracks, mid-way between stations, and an announcement was made about either “stopping devices” or “doors”. Given that I had my nose up against a door at that point I really hoped that, if there was a choice, it was “stopping devices”.
Anyway after hanging around at Aldershot going nowhere fast, I decided at 9am (when I should be taking notes and listening avidly) to come home.
Two hours later I’m here!
In all this time my internal chatter was a-whir with talk and comments, observations, things I could do, things I might be doing, emails I could write, challenges I could start — it went on and on…but it made me remember how so very powerful this internal chatter is.
It’s quite literally what defines us.
The words we tell ourselves become our story. And our story, when we tell it enough times is what we believe to be true about us – whether it is or not.
Our self worth and self esteem comes from these words, these thoughts, these beliefs about ourselves that we continually say. Changing them, will change you and the results you get.
Sound a bit fluffy and airy-fairy?
It works.
I’ve done it.
I do it.
If you’re thinking that it’s easier said than done. It can be, and can seem a bit alien. But starting sooner rather than later will give you the foundations to work on to feel better sooner.
Think about this.
What needs to happen for you to be good enough now? Be happy enough now? Be willing to like yourself now?
Is it possible that you are already all these things if you just change your thoughts?
If that feels waaay too uncomfortable I want to show you how to start.
My talk on 12 Ways to Nurture Your Self Esteem is nearly full. I have just 6 places left. This free talk will help you if you find yourself on the same old cycle of internal chatter, if you want to stop this and reset your thoughts and also boost your willingness to like yourself more.
To grab one of the last few places please register your interest and join us next Friday 19 August at 19.30 in Winnersh.
This link will secure your place.

Improving on this will determine your success rate at other things in your life. Whether it’s being a parent, a partner, an employee, your health, fitness and finances. All of these things are affected by what you think about yourself. So let’s change it!
Trust me on this.
You are worth it.
It is worth working on and it’s worth starting now.
I’ll share my story at the event about how I have moved from being Worried with the World to Happy with Heidi.
I hope to see you there.
Finally, if you’re around on Sunday morning at 9am please join us at Bearwood Recreation Ground, Winnersh for our Family Charity Fit Camp where we’re raising money for Breast Cancer Now. All monies go to the charity and, if the weather is good, I am looking for a new aerial photo too!
Have a great weekend!
