Friday with Heidi: Who are you?

What a gorgeous week! (this is the view from the end stretches at our Wokingham Early Risers session!)
Last week our Twyford campers had snow on Tuesday evening and last night it was 18 degrees! Madness 🙂
I’ve planned something very special this weekend.
I’m taking Saturday off work!
Shock horror! I know that’s a kind of given for most people, but I’ve been pretty busy since January getting on with running the business and doing something every single day even if it’s not all day.
Now don’t get me wrong. I love it. I choose it and despite the fact my work life balance isn’t that well….evenly balanced. I am still balanced, afterall you can be balanced whilst standing on one leg can’t you?!
However I realised a couple of weeks ago that all I was was FastTrack Fit Camp.
I had no interest in anything else, or desire to get involved in anything else because it was Fit Camp first.
I’d lost my mojo for cooking. Long gone were my days of being creative, now it’s just cook meat and veg, serve, eat, repeat.
I’ve stopped listening to music.
I stopped reading magazines.
I read business and self development books but nothing frivolous like my favourite Jack Reacher books.
So, it’s time to change.
I’m starting with a Fit Camp free day each Saturday … you know, wean myself back into it!
I’ve got loads of domestic stuff to do, but I might just do nothing.
Doing nothing is the basis of all creativity.
Who knows I may end up busier than ever on Monday with a raft of ideas to be getting on with 🙂
What have you stopped doing as life creeps over you?
What have you given up on because you just don’t have time?
How would your friends describe you to someone who wasn’t quite sure who you were? “You know, the running one?” or “…the one who makes fabulous cup cakes“? or “…the one who works all the hours“?
I’d love to know what your thing is.
What you love to do when you get time off.
Drop me an email and let’s see how wide ranging we are.
Finally, we have about 4 spaces left on our Fit, Lean and Happy 12 week lifestyle programme starting on Monday 9 May. If you fancy feeling hugely better in 12 weeks, having shifted some inches and body fat and know that you’ve got a better understanding of how to look after yourself, please drop me an email to have a discussion about whether it’s right for you.
Have a beautiful weekend, whether you are working or playing, outside or in.
