Six Years On

On the 16th November 2009 FastTrack Fit Camp became a real, sweating, fat burning, belly shrinking ‘thing’.
After a three week build up with plans and preparation, searches for appropriate venue and mass emailing to attract some attention Vida and I started with five naive campers and some family members to pad it out a bit!
One of those campers was Duncan who is still with us today. (What a guy! Thank you Duncan and boy how you’ve changed since then!)
The others have since had babies, got married or retired but I am still in touch with them and I do owe all of them a huge debt of thanks for putting up with us during that first month when we tested out new workouts, diet plans and ideas.
Six years later and we’re still tweaking and still wanting to get you better results in the most natural and fun way possible. I can’t say that it’s always a breeze but helping you get results, keeping those results maintained and meeting some nice people along the way has been a really lovely way for me to run a business over these years.
I want to use this opportunity to thank, whole-heartedly, the instructor team who bring their own level of passion, expertise and weirdness to their sessions! Without them Fit Camp couldn’t be the business it is. Give them a high five next time you see them and say I sent you with it.
I need to thank Alison who represents a lot of the behind the scenes email exchanges that are had with you all. She works remotely, gets on with the job and keeps me on top of the things I let drift.
And you… thank you.
Thank you for being a FastTrack Fit Camper.
Thank you for committing the improvement of your health and fitness to us.
Thank you for enabling us to still be in business 6 years on when many small businesses fail within the first 12 months.
I am really grateful. Thank you.
As it’s a birthday it’s always nice to have cake. 🙂
So here are two of my favourite gluten free cakes that you don’t even have to declare as gluten free when you serve them up.
Chocolate Cake

Carrot Cake

Enjoy!
