What a fabulous week! It’s not often school holidays are so blessed with good weather. Long may it continue.
I’ve had a week of revelations and decisions.
Firstly, I realised that whilst we help people get fit and lose weight we do also change much more than that.
We are really pretty good at helping people who have been feeling crappy with their lives. This may be either through depression, stress or anxiety and they find that committing to Fit Camp they improve it so that they feel free of the burden of their mood and start to enjoy life again.
As a result I was reminded that Fit Camp isn’t for everyone straight away (if at all) and I wanted to make sure we offer the same level of support to those people even if they don’t do Fit Camp but want the same results.
So I am reintroducing Nordic Walking to what we offer at FastTrack Fit Camp.
Nordic Walking is a fantastic activity that anyone who can walk can do.
It’s the main exercise being recommended by GP referral schemes and is a fantastic way to exercise whilst talking (if you want), getting some fresh air and sun light (both essential for improving moods) and, because of the poles, getting an all over workout.
- Walks are about an hour to an hour and half in length.
- Mainly off road, across the meadows and walk ways of Wokingham and the wider area.
- No equipment is necessary as poles are provided.
A full timetable will be available next week, but for now, if you’d like to know more about Nordic Walking please get in touch.
There is no pressure to come along.
Whatever you are doing this weekend, I hope you have a great one.
